We offer a variety of classes rooted in the fiber arts. Classes range from beginner to advanced levels. All classes are held on-site in the shop unless otherwise noted. Students will learn and practice different dart, pleat and gathering techniques and how to identify them in commercial sewing patterns. These techniques form part of the foundation of tailoring techniques.

How To Read A Paper Pattern

Students will learn the basics of how to follow a paper pattern and have an opportunity to try these skills out for themselves. For the practice portion, students can either bring a pattern of their own or use one from the shop.

All cancellations must be made with a minimum of 24 hour advance notice.
If you are cancelling 24 hours or more prior to a class you may be entitled to a refund or rebooking of the class.

Classes may not be refunded unless the class is cancelled by SewGreen Rochester.
If you are cancelling due to illness or emergency, please do so by calling the shop at 585-328-2642 with a minimum of 24 hours before the class.
No call-no show’s will not be entitled to a refund or rescheduling of the class.
