Wall of Gratitude
Thanks for helping us to bloom - SewGreen’s Grand Reopening Event April 12th
Thanks to the efforts of many, SewGreen sports a fiber arts installation with a banner proclaiming “Thanks for helping us to bloom.” Jane designed it and hand-sewed flowers and leaves, Charlie built and hung it, and Tate created flowers and kits so others could lend a hand. Those who made flowers, butterflies and birds include Steph, Yancy, and Susan K. and more. Amy and Judy climbed ladders and secured each creation to the latticework. Great teamwork!

Bob & Sue
Bob & Sue - hauling bins of fabric home so Sue can sort it
Sue’s friend introduced her to SewGreen about three years ago for knitting club, but she wanted to do something for the community. Ever since then, Bob helps Sue take bins of fabric home, where she categorizes them by fabric type and size, setting aside cotton for the quilting section. Sue cuts fabric to square off if needed, measures, folds and tickets every bolt or piece to be sold in our retail shop. Each bin takes about four hours, and Sue processes about two per week. This couple’s dedication makes a big impact at SewGreen, one bin at a time.
